Ok, so I'm going to start with what I did like about this book. I loved the premise! I'm a huge fan of retellings (whether classic or fairy tale) and combining that with cyberpunk made for great potential!! Sadly, I never got to actually see it realized because this book holds a record for me: the fastest I have ever discontinued reading a book. I started reading this book on 1st November 2015 I finished it today.
Earlier today I was on chapter 30 that was 2hours 51minutes ago.
This was a buddy read in the group I own.
This book was really good.I was shocked when I found read the ending. I did not enjoy the start but as I read on it got moreinteresting.

Looks like I'm in the majority on this one. Although late to the game, I've finally picked the book off my shelf and found myself pulled right into the world of the Lunar Chronicles. Like most of the reviews before this one, high stars are deserved! I really enjoyed this book.

This book is a retelling of Cinderella set in the future. For the most part the characters and elements of the story we know and love are included, those that are not are not missed. In addition to Cinder, the Prince, the Stepmother and two Stepsisters, there are androids and cyborgs, hover craft, prejudice, a plague, the threat of an unwinnable war, and an Evil queen and her court.
