What Members Thought
I never read the first book of this trilogy, but from reading the reviews most say that it isn't crucial to do that. It seems that Year of the Flood is more of a sidequel than a sequel to Oryx and Crake. I listened to this on audio and found it truly amazing that Atwood wrote a soundtrack for her world in the songs of "God's Gardeners." Let me start over with an outline sketch, by saying that this group ... God's Gardeners ... are vegetarian survivalists that believe the world is to be destroyed
