When a book on a topic that I'm not that knowledgeable on or interested in can grab me like this, it is something very special. I was truly invested in these characters even when they were acting in ways that frustrated or upset me, I really wanted everything to turn out well for them. I feel like I went on a journey through the ups and downs of their lives and was celebrating and commiserating with them.

I didn’t know I was going to consider this a 5 star read until I finished the last page and didn’t want it to be over. Recommend and recommend and recommend.

Tomorrow, and Tomorrow, and Tomorrow is exactly the sort of book I'd give a solid 4 stars to.

I love these kinds of stories, where you follow a person or a group of friends over several years as they grow older and change and have major life events and difficult experiences. A very good book. Following the relationship between two characters over almost thirty years, the subject matter of video game development is entirely central, yet not vital to appreciating the sentiment of love, pain and the idea impermanence. I'm not a gamer and was able to skim through any technical parts that I found boring without affecting my enjoyment as a whole. ...more
