What Members Thought
This story in this book is an absolute masterpiece about love and redemption. Although many parts were so difficult to read, so heart breaking, its a story that sticks with you. This book is also more in to depth of the story then the movie.
I listened to the audiobook which is narrated by Alice Walker, her voice is so soothing and comforting such an asset to the enjoyment of this book. As with most books, it is so much more than the original movie, yet while listening to this I could picture Whoopi, Danny Glover, Oprah, Laurence Fishburn etc as the rich characters in the book. This book is on my list of forever favorite books, the story line is so real, the characters so believable, I love the differences in the book from the movie
