What a marvelous charming story! I am so glad I gave this book a second change and started reading it again. This writer is good at tying up loose ends and I love that. Great character building.

4.5 rounded up because I just love the feel of Frederik Backman books and this one got me out of a reading slump and took just 2 days to do it!

I am in the minority on this book, I was looking so forward to it after reading A Man Called Ove and loving it, but this book is so hard to read. It is packed with unlikeable, annoying characters. The plot drags on with making the reader dislike it with the turn of each page. I also did not like that most of the characters did not have names but were identified as the realtor or the bank robber etc. I do not recommend this book at all, very disappointing and not worth your time to read it.
