this was definitely a disturbing book to read, but most true crime stories are to an extent. i read this for my true crime book club and i have seen a lot of mixed reviews about this book. the entire time i read this book, i kept saying to myself, i understand the children were afraid to say anything when they were still so young as to what would happen to them and their family or would anyone even believe them, but i really had a hard time figuring out what the heck was wrong with the adults wh
