This was THE BOOK of 2018 and I can see why. It is very cleverly crafted and I loved how all the different myths were weaved into the story. Circe is an addictive read about the mythological witch, sorceress, nymph, wild animal tamer, goddess and heroine. She is the daughter of the Titan Helios the sun god, and Perse the nymph and granddaughter of the Oceanus Titan of the Seas. I loved how, although, Circe is a goddess, she is so deeply mortal with human qualities and feelings.
