Great thriller! I like stories with characters with secret pasts so this was right up my alley! The back and forth from 30+ years ago and present day kept me sucked in and wanting more of each story. I did get a little confused at first because of two characters with the same name, but it was quickly figured out. My only flaw with this one was that the timidness of the main character Andy was annoying! I don't know how many times I wanted to slap her for her inability to speak!! It wasn't needed

Review:
This was only the 2nd Novel ive read by Karin but i have to say she is quickly becoming My Favorite Thriller Author. This one reminded me alot of Stillhouse Lake by Rachel Caine the way the setting is and how the story started but a little bit better then Stillhouse Lake.
The Characters were so fun and interesting to read about. Im still in show how Laura covered for her daughter but in a way i can see why even tho i agreed with Andrea most of the time which made her my ...more
