I truly enjoyed this sweet family story about re-learning what is important in life.
Basic synopsis: family falls on hard times, and is falling apart. They inherit a house and business in Amish country, relocate, and make new friends.
Although Christmases are featured in the story, it is not strictly a holiday book. The Amish culture is treated with respect and admiration and, an nearly as I can tell, accuracy. There is plenty to be learned from their simple, honest way of life.
