I loved the Hunger Games so much that I decided to give Suzanne Collins' Overlander series a try as well. Although geared to a younger demographic than Hunger Games, the first book in this series was well-thought-out and written. A basic "accidentally enter another world and have adventures" story, this book is elevated to four stars because the 11-year-old hero undergoes all of these adventures with his two-year-old sister in tow.
