I loved To Kill A Mockingbird, so after reading a bunch of early reviews for this I was a little hesitant to pick it up. I'm glad I did! It does show Atticus in a different light, but that's ok because he's human and can change as he gets older. Jean Louise brings us back to Maycomb and you experience her life now as well as memories from childhood. Going into this book I thought i'd love it but I only liked it and ended up only rating it 4.5 stars.
Reason for my review: The use of certain words over and over again really bugged me like yes I realize what time era this was written in but still I think it should of been revised and used different words in place of the N word for example.
I do still wanna read To Kill a Mockingbird to see if i'd like it better than this one even tho I doubt it.
