Here we are...the end (or is it?) of a phenomenal series that swept the nation. This book had a number of unecessary rambling little episodes that seem to be hallmark of Christopher Paolini, but also the intense action and "enchanting" sorcery that we have come to expect from the Inheritance Cycle.

I love the Inheritance Saga, but I felt this book lacked the magic found in Eragon and Brisingr. Those books were two of the best books I've read, and I kinda wish Christopher Paolini had been able to keep that going.
Unfortunately, he couldn't. The book hopped around constantly, which I didn't find nice. Also, a lot of parts were pretty boring. I will say this: he knows how to write a story, and I'm satisfied with the way he ended it.

took me forever but it was worth it. Loved it but the ending was terrible.
