I read the book and saw the movie..... I definitely suggest reading it before you see the movie, it will all make sense
The Hunger Games, awesome book and a great movie as well. Great plot, action and characters (although Katniss isn't exactly my favorite narrator or anything. But I do appreciate how tough and brave she is.) I also felt the story could of been a little bit more developed. However, despite it's flaws I think the series is a little gem in the YA genre.
