What Members Thought
The author decided to enter the Mongol Derby, a 1,000 km endurance horse race in 2013, on a bit of a whim, as she writes it. The book is about her experience of the race, which she won as the youngest person and first woman to do so. She doesn't take herself too seriously and she writes about her feelings as much as she writes about the logistics and events of the race.
