This book made me ugly cry. This isn't a book about good guys or bad guys. It's a complex tale of love and rock and roll and the vulnerability that is being human. It brought back memories of when I was a teenager reading Pamela Des Barres' I'm with the band and was just such a pure heart punch of a story you couldn't help but try to feel for everyone. It was hard to believe sometimes that this stuff didn't actually happen, everything just felt so real.

Captivating. Unique. A fully engrossing and engaging view of the world of rock and roll during the 70’s. I enjoyed the band content as much as the characters themselves. They feel real. It’s believable. The whole time reading, I was waiting for something bad, expecting the worse. The only disappointment was on Audible, there was a soundtrack of Honeycomb included. There were no lyrics. I really wanted to hear them sing it.
