Page by page the book gets better. It begins with somewhat dull topics like our working memory, and the division between Fast - intuitive thinking, and Slow - deliberative thinking.

The middle third is about mental biases. Great fun, and a users manual for your brain.

The final third is on decision making, areas where we can and cannot make rational decisions. Where expertise is possible, and where it is not. Kahneman makes a convincing case (I'd say he proves it) that fund managers are entirely
