What Members Thought
This wasnt quite as strong as Nixonland in my opinion, but still definitely a five star book. Just as fascinating but a lot more ambitious in the scope of its topic, and accordingly it feels unfocused at times. Rick perlstein is a great writer and historian, and i would recommend this highly to anyone who enjoyed nixonland, even though i think its not as strong on its own
Weirdly there was a TON of typos in this book. Maybe it was a first edition, but i noticed at least 50-100 typos
