Good overview of Charles Koch's private empire. I was hoping they went more in depth into the outsized political influence he exerts, but overall you get a pretty good picture. Only critique is the authors tendency to over describe the setting - leather coasters, wood paneling and opaque windows. Haha I don't really care for it

Amazingly thorough research here. The notes alone are astounding. A great read for anyone curious about the dark forces driving much of our politics today.

When people ask why the Koch’s are a problem just give them this book. Libertarians really do lack empathy and this book just helps prove it.
