What Members Thought
A bit of a mess. In part 1 ("Cascades") the author has the annoying habit of constantly presenting an apocalyptic scenario, before immediately backpedaling to say that no scientist actually thinks that that particular level of warming is realistic. Part 2 ("Elements of chaos") is by far the best part of the book. Here, Wallace-Wells actually gives each topic some room to breath and engages with both historical data and events as well as current studies. Some chapters are a bit weaker than others
