I should have read this series again before reading this book, or at least read all the books beyond the Demon Apocalypse. I'm reserving judgment until I am re-freshened of the later parts of the series.

There are average novels, novels you find on accident, novels your friend may have given to you, and so forth. BUT The Demonata's final chapter, Hell's Heroes, is none of the above. If you stayed with Grubbs, Kernel, and Bec from the beginning like I have, then the parting hurts greatly. I was super excited to read the final book in this series (and even more psyched that I found the UK edition!) so I read all the reviews multiple times. They are raved about how great the ending was, so of course I was curious. And I must say, I was impressed. It was definately a shocking twist and very original. I love this series and author so much and I will definately be reading all his other books ASAP!
