What Members Thought
Another gem of a story. Grace Lin nailed the art of the companion. Distinctly it's own story, Starry River had just the right amount of nods to Mountain Meets the Moon. I absolutely loved the layering of narrative and folk tales and just as they intertwined in the first book, the final culmination hit all the right notes. While Mountain was a masterful adventure, Starry River was about the internal struggle of retuning home. A very tasteful contrast that make a tremendous pairing. ...more
