I didn't start this series with high expectations. From what I had heard and snippets I had read, I figured it wasn't something I'd enjoy. But I hate it when people decide whether they like a book or not without ever reading it, so in order not to be one of THOSE people, I thought I'd give it a chance. Maybe I would like it. I mean, I loved Smallville, so clearly I don't have super high standards. Maybe this would be like that.
