You know what; this fic gets that extra star because I keep rereading it, and while the plot-y intrigue stuff still whooshes over my head b/c I probs just don't care, the relationship stuff is still nice, and I like the character dynamics, and I don't cringe when going back to the beginning and have to sit through pre-character-development character dynamics like I do with Wheel of Time.

Pretty good. I've been faithfully following the updates to this novel for the past year. There were a few rough patches typical of an unedited work...but overall, it was a very enjoyable read. AND ITS FREE!
