Have you ever read a book that reminded you to be grateful for the family that loves you? To appreciate just a bit more the sacrifices that your parents have made for you? To try and be a better daughter, sister, mother one day?
This is a story about love - not only the romantic type, but also between mothers and daughters and all the people we take for granted in our everyday lives. It is also a story of finding one’s identity, putting all the puzzle pieces together that make up the picture of w ...more

I fell in love with these characters (well everyone but a few and Syd's friend Taylor was one I really did not care for). Loved Ethan, Sydney, Grace, Kendra....Sweet story that brought tears to my eyes.

I won this as part of a Goodreads First Reads Giveaways.
I don't read a lot of "chick lit," but I'm so glad that this one fell into my lap thanks to Goodreads and Dina Silver. This novel was so good at capturing the reader's attention and holding it until the very end. Coupled with an interesting storyline and clever presentation, I just couldn't put this one down. I absolutely loved the way the 2 separate stories overlapped and intertwined. Although I could figure out the connection from the beg ...more

All of us need to read a novel like this every once and while. We all can relate to SOMETHING within One Pink Line.
And I for one know that I enjoyed it so much!! One Pink Line is a novel that will make you call up your mom and gush about, and make her read it.
Both POV’s were riveting. When they switched over, I really didn’t mind. They were written so thoroughly. We go from watching Sydney grow up into Adult hood, and Grace (her daughter) go through the struggles and insecurities that come your ...more

I LOVED reading "One Pink Line." It is the first book in awhile that I have been unable to put down! Silver's writing style draws the reader in immediately and captivate to the end! I received a free copy from the author yesterday through Good Reads, and I read it all last night! It was a fantastic story that I would highly recommend to anyone who enjoys reading Kristin Hannah, Kate White, Elin Hilderbrand and Allison Winn Scotch.

Nothing makes me happier than when a debut author has a hit right out of the gate. That's the case with Dina Silver and her debut novel ONE PINK LINE. The story is told from two points of view, which adds depth to the story. Sydney is a young college student who finds herself pregnant and facing the life changing choices that come with pregnancy. While Grace is a young daughter who is facing the truth of her conception and searching to find her identity within her new reality. The dialogue is co

Still reeling from this emotional read. There are so many levels to this story I hardly know where to begin. I love romance and this has a very poignant one with a male lead that I loved as much as Peeta from Hunger Games (I'd love to read a story just about him), but there is SOOO much more. Relationships between mothers and daughters, fathers and daughters, and sisters and friends are explored in a depth and in such detail that I feel I need to go back and reread just to catch all the nuances.

D--I absolutely loved your first book!! The characters are so real and human that I found myself thinking about them when I wasn't reading the book wondering what was going on in their lives and what was going to happen next. I loved how you went back and forth between the two stories and yet it felt like one cohesive story. It was also easy to take on the point of view of whichever character you were following a feel a part of their decisions and struggles. What can I say except read this book!

It is a snowy day in Telluride and this is a perfect (well written) story for today. I started One Pink Line upon awakening and could not put it down. I really liked the characters (except Kevin who I wanted to stomp) and the story line. I thought the story being told by two voices was interesting and kept me reading. I am looking forward to her next book. Thanks for this story.

I really loved this book! I loved the writing style how it was from different characters pov's and different years! Could totally relate to a lot of the references for Sydney because I graduated from high school in 86. That was fun to remember! I will definitely will look for more from this author! ...more

What a good book! One Pink Line sucked me in right away and didn't let me go until the last page. I was sorry to have to say goodbye to Sydney, Ethan and Grace. Their stories were moving and believable, and they felt like real people - good friends. I will be reading Silver's next offering.

For this author's debut novel, I can sum it up in 3 words: Captivating, Original, Fabulous!
This book gives Chick-lit it's true meaning. I enjoyed every minute of it. The characters were wonderful and well developed. I highly recommend this book to any chick-lit lover who wants a fun page turner of a book to read!! :) Can't wait for the author's next novel!! ...more

One Pink Line is a heart-wrenching/heart-warming story about young love and how quickly someone's path can change in literally 3 minutes. I am sure the storyline of an unwanted pregnancy is relatable to a lot of women and Sydney's journey down this road is one that is filled with many hard decisions, highs and lows. It is a beautiful story of how a young college girl needs to suddenly grow up and realize what is truly important in life. I would completely recommend this book to those who like to

I started reading One Pink Line on a Saturday afternoon and ended up ignoring my kids until I finished it. I just had to find out what happened and what was going to happen. I won't give away the plot or rehash the storyline. Let me just say that the characters were well developed, the double storylines blended well and there was a surprise that I never anticipated. It's definitely worth the read.

Loved this! Apparently I'm on a "find your bio parent" kick lately because I just read Emily Giffin's book as well. Can't wait to read "Kat Fight!"
