Esta historia no se asemeja a lo que yo me imaginé que sería, fue mucho mejor. Existen grandes cantidades de libros que lees y que te gustan, pero no te dejan nada que sea realmente importante. Éste, en cambio, es parte de esos libros que dejaron algo real, algo especial en ti, y que sabes que te acompañarán por el resto de tu vida. His was a spectacular and amazing book. It truly captured the confusing life of a teenager in high school and has similar situations that teenagers see and face everyday. I think every teenager by Charlie's age (15-16) should read this book. It was phenomenal.

I read this sometime ago and to be honest, it wasn't as good as I thought it would be. It did have some inspiring lessons about life but I didn't really like it. Yes friends leave and yes things change but life doesn't move on. Life depends on a single moment and who you are from then on is defined by that one moment. It is rare that I read a popular book that I feel actually lives up to all the hype, but this is one of those books. The Perks of being a wallflower is a beautifully written, feel good novel. I love Charlie and the way he sees the world. I am in high school and I too am a wallflower and therefore can relate to his experiences and see a lot of my own characteristics in his personality.
I skimmed through this after watching the movie.
