What an interesting twist to an MC story - club rivalries are expected, then throw in a Religious Cult. This story although mostly about Link and Tesla provided wonderful incite to the rest of the club brothers as well as Tesla's friends.
This book kept me interested throughout the entire story and I read it in one sitting. Now I'm curious to see if the pairings that I am predicting will happen the way I expect or if there will be surprises along the way.

This is a good story but is a little confusing to follow at first and has a slow start. Your reading about Link & Tesla and then it goes to Rye & Grace but, as the story goes on it starts to blend together and picks up. It does end with a cliffhanger but still a good story.
Amazing start to this new series
How do you know when a book is hitting all the right spots? When you read it the second it downloads to your kindle and don’t stop until you’re done.
Link and Tesla’s story is gritty, dirty and romantic in that MC way. No hearts and rainbows for this couple. CM Genovese does a great job painting the picture of what life is like in the Razorblade Tumbleweeds MC. There’s no sugar coating here.

Calm's Storm, the title alone exudes the motif at hand. An adjective which possesses a noun is cleaver and truthful. He does the same with the prequel, Anger's Fear. Genius! The titles exude a sophistication which traditionally is not seen in many works. He not only breathes life into the titles, but he also hits the literary home run with them.

“Calm’s Storm” is a tantalizing, page turning tale full of danger, forbidden love and religious fanatics. The men are sexy, lethal and menacing, while the women are beautiful, passionate and independent.

Outstanding!!
Wow!! This book held me captive from the very first page. It is full of action pack suspense and keeping you in the edge of your seat intensity. I was not able to put it down. GM Genovese's mesmerizes with his characters and story line. The attraction between Tesla and Link is so, I want to say complicated, there are so many obstacles they need to overcome, before they can commit to each other. A brilliant and exciting MC story!
A brilliant read that I didn't want to put down, which made me feel like I was right there, in with the fantastic mix of characters. I'm sure I actually held my breath for one whole chapter it was that exciting.....and scary. I loved the mix of the character's backgrounds, especially the clash of the MC club and the Red Chapel. Link and Tesla are just formidable and so sexy and I absolutely adore them. The banter between the Alpha, MC bad boys is cracking and I ...more

Freaking brilliant MC story!
Color me impressed by the way Chris brings this story together.
This has everything from bar brawls, strip club, phenomenal shoot outs, and last but not least, there's also a love story.

the start of this book confused me to a point and made it where I did not know who the book was about since it named Link, Tesla, Rye, and Grace. It does pick up better and gets a lot better and they is a lot of battles going on and now I can not wait for the next book for this
This was my first book that I've read from this author. And boy, so glad I did. He has a super great writing style that flows easily on the pages. The pages you will not want to put down until done. I'm not a spoiler, so I'll limit my review, but the stuff I could say, awww man, it would be good.
