This is unfortunately going to be a DNF for me, the blurb sounded so interesting but this just didn't deliver for me in any way. It's YA which I knew going in, I'm certainly not adverse to some well written YA and I adored the cruel prince series and some of my favourite series are also young adult. I imagined this would have a similar tone to them and from the synopsis itself I'd imagined a much darker vibe. So basically a young adult read but with some dark themes.
