My updates pretty much cover my thoughts on these stories. The Conan stories are my favorite Sword & Sorcery playground. The quality of the stories in volume one is varied, but includes two of my favorites: “The Tower of the Elephant” and “The Queen of the Black Coast”.
The narrator, Todd McLaren, does a fine job. For me his voice he makes for Conan conjures an image of the Barbarian as drawn by John Buscema.

Great collection of stories. I loved every moment spent reading these. The notes and essays at the end of the book were great as well. It's so good to be able to read the unaltered versions of these stories.
