"Kavin's World"--the setting--is the central interest here. It develops from being a mild mystery into Moorcockian cosmic fantasy without losing sight of the fact that the protagonists are fairly ordinary people that are slowly acclimated to dealing with the reality of their world.

I kind of enjoyed this. Fairly standard heroic fantasy but worth reading if you're a fan.
