What Members Thought
This one didn't really fly for me much as I wished it to. I never really connected with the central character. There was very little backstory on him; it was never clearly established what he wanted beyond an easy life and that's not enough for me. He took too few decisions that drove the plot and was carried along by events for most of the book.

Started off with a lot of promise and it is a very good novel in most ways but missing that extra special something to rise above the best fantasy novels. Saltlick the giant is awesome and really enjoyed his bits.
