What Members Thought

Theft of Swords is a fantasy adventure through, and through. Sullivan throws down a solid with his debut novels, but left something for me to desire. We get a classic feeling story about 2 friends/thieves that contradictorily ooze integrity. Through this 2 book adventure Hadrian, and Royce find themselves caught up in murder conspiracies, impregnable prisons/elven towers, and a backwater village in need of their services.

Ever since I came back to Goodreads, I've heard "Riyria!" being shouted wall to wall in various fantasy groups. This, combined with finding a well-loved clearance copy of this book at my local Half Price Bookstore, made my duty clear.

It’s even some years that I have read such invigorating and fascinating read... Kudos to the writer to come up with such great ideas and plot twists to keep this saga afloat....I give 4/5 stars....
