One of the finest novels I've ever read. But I can't be bothered to write a review. Must ignore all else and jump immediately into the next book!

Definitely a Joe Abercrombie fan now.





If you love this trilogy you simply must read Jeff Salyards BLOODSOUNDERS ARC trilogy.

While the first quarter of this book dragged at times (almost feeling like a book one, instead of a book two), the rest of it was quite good. The beginning spent a lot of time establishing a minor character from the first book as a major character, which left little emphasis on the "major" characters from book one. Once the plots picked up, it was rather heavy on the action, which is something Abercrombie does quite well. ...more
