Nights’ Master (NM) by author Tanith Lee is a dark fantasy adventure. It’s the first Tanith Lee book I’ve read, after it was recommended as a good starting point for Tanith Lee fiction. In the big picture, it’s similar to Arabian Nights, with a series of interconnected tales, but revolving around Azhrarn, Lord of Night, Prince of Demons. I have been getting into Tanith Lee this year and for my second outing I chose this book because an extremely negative review on this website was high on the ranked reviews list. It was by the kind of person whose distaste strongly implies I will like what they dislike. This is the best utility of this website.
