That is exactly what David A. Riley and Parallel Universe Publications has done. Three unique anthologies all published within the last thirteen months with a fourth volume on the way next year. Parallel Universe continues to publish heroic adventures in strange worlds by authors of growing renown.

The two Crown Jewels of this anthology are In a he Lair of the Moonmen by Jon Hansen, and Sailing on the Thieves Tide by Adrian Cole. Hansen’s Moonmen story is straight up pulpy goodness with almost a sword and planet feel. Cole delivers another great Elak of Atlantis story to satisfy any S&S craving. In the Lair of the Snake Witch, by Darin Hlavas, was also good. The rest of the book was hit and miss with a few 1 star duds. 2.9 overall. I will continue to support these anthologies, because ther

This is the third anthology in the series and it's a cracker.
Despite a variety of treatments, Swords and Sorceries has a themed feel with a strong cast throwing in lots of great stories. I'm happy to have made the cut but not ashamed to say that I appear to be punching well above my weight. The anthology harks back to past glories of fantasy but doesn’t let the modern reader down. In a real world full of gloom and doom it is simply fun to read something that cheers you up.

The third volume of this ongoing series turned out to be another solid collection of Sword & Sorcery Tales, which invoke the classic spirit while displaying modern sensibilities.
Following the editorial 'Introduction' it has ten stories of varying lengths. They were~

Adrian Cole delivers a stellar bang of a concluding tale, most definitely helping the overall product. Adrian's Elak and Lycon are grand adventurers and this was a fun tale filled with play both swords and sorcerous. The denouement could have been more adroitly delivered, but the climax was thrilling!
