Amazing. Everything about this book is well writen and well done. It's engaging and reading it made me feel as if the battle was real, the whole threedays. This was my first Ambercrombie's read, and surly not the last.

I kept waiting for a surprise appearance by grand mercenary, Nicomo Cosca, but getting more Shivers is never a bad thing. And Calder is firmly entrenched as one of my favorite characters now.
