Start to finish simply awesome. The characters are all so wonderfully flawed and the dialogue is anything but flawed. The caustic banter had me laughing. Glotka's thought process is a wonderful schadenfreude stream of consciousness. Really looking forward to the next two books in the trilogy. ...more

I wish I’d never started this. It is so poorly written. I could enumerate my complaints at length but other reviewers have already done that better than I could. I only hung in to see how these plot threads would ever intersect… and most of them didn’t — pure sequel bait and not even a real story. What little plot exists is a complete rip-off of better stories. You’ll know all the tropes, they’re well past well-worn. My guess? This entire trilogy could’ve been one concisely written 300 page nove ...more
