Shelves: fantasy
I had heard this was a short story collection. I'm not the biggest fan of anthologies or short fiction, BUT the way this was put together it was awesome. The story structure reminded me of Tanith Lee's Cyrion.

Now I was also under the impression that Geralt was this bad to the bone anti-hero. The back cover doesn't dissuade from this impression. " Geralt of Rivia is a witcher. A cunning sorcerer. A merciless assassin. And a cold-blooded killer." The stories here really don't present Geralt that

One of my favorite fantasy books. Very clever in many places with a dry humor that fits the stories without diminishing their quality and depth.
