What Members Thought

Tons of really lovely ornate armour and impossible architectures. Wish I'd read the black and white version though. A few good creatures and a lot of grisly deaths.
Preferred the earlier stories where it's just some guys caught up in this massive army, huge beyond reckoning, struggling to survive even though they're victorious. Later it becomes sort of a high fantasy Alexander the Great thing.
There's a postscript by Pat Mills where he makes the case that this is anti-war, which I don't really buy ...more
