'The Manor of Lost Time' by Richard Parks makes me wish Parks would move away from his Asian ghost stories more often. I liked this story in a secondary fantasy setting with gods influencing wizards directly is way more than his usual fare. The titular Manor is a nice find: a place where people (or gods) can be trapped and travel from room to room, with every room showing the prisoner another life they could have had. The way the story is written, narrated by a god to a wizard, is a bit clunky,
