This is a novelization of the second Conan movie, *Conan the Destroyer* (1984). I enjoyed it more than the movie. The villain, a sorceress named Taramis, sends Conan on a journey to complete a prophecy that will resurrect a dead god, “Dagoth, the Sleeping God.” Conan gathers a group of companions: the bumbling thief, Malak; the grumpy wizard, Akiro; and the taciturn amazon, Zula.
