Be careful what you wish for.
There are a plethora of major infamous events that I wish had never happened: The presidential assassinations, The murder of Martin Luther King Jr, the attacks on Pearl Harbor and 9/11, the extermination of Jews in Nazi Germany and the slaughter of Native Americans, etc. And if it were possible for me to travel back in time and prevent these atrocities, wouldn't it ...more

11/22/63 was a book that I had put off reading, either the plot didn't pull me in or I figured the JFK references would be a little difficult to get through. I'm not an expert on the assassination, far from it and while the general knowledge I had about it helped me understand the story better it wasn't necessary, something you had to have to enjoy this book.
