I read this while I was recovering in the hospital. I don't know what I expected, but it was different from the usual King book. Didn't hate it, but didn't love it. I know it was suppose to be a mystery/crime book, but it missed the mark with me. The first half of the book was wasted on a failed love interest. King missed a chance to turn this into an excellent murder mystery at the carnival.
