Meh. More Ellis techno-jibberish than I need. Usually Ellis throws in enough insane/funny characters to make his latest future-fetish easier to swallow, but Anna Mercury was pretty much straight-up heroic. The art was nice, especially for an Avatar book. Nice boobies and leather.

This odd little graphic novel is not Warren Ellis's best work. I kept waiting for the story to take off, but it never did. Perhaps the story gets more interesting in later volumes, but this one left me cold. ...more
