This book may not appeal to everyone, but it carries with it some real invention and fuses humour with subtle observation. I'm pleased with it. NB: I'm still aware that reviewing my own books, irks people - probably the same sticklers who overuse semicolons!

This truly is a Tom Conrad special novella. One that shouldn’t be missed.

We’ve all had those times when we weren’t sure which punctuation would best suit that piece we’ve just written. Sometimes we have to re-read it, re-edit it, only to find that it still doesn’t sound/look right. I, myself, tend to overuse the comma…oh, and the ellipsis…my favourite! Update

I wasn't sure what to expect of this book when I clicked it open. Semicolon bitch? Where is Tom Conrad going with this and how can it be a book?

Like many of the others I thought when seeing the title "huh, now this is different" and when seeing the cover I thought "ummm, will I even like this kind of book?" Well, the author fooled me not once but twice. It was a great book that had me feel a variety of emotions. There were times I rolled my eyes in frustrations and there was times I was laughing hysterically at comments. I would recommend this book to anyone. I look forward to reading many more things from Mr. Conrad. ...more

The book gets off to a tantalizingly slow start, but once it gets going, it picks up speed and is worth the read. Witty, descriptive and strikes a nerve with fellow writers.
