Okay...I hate to admit this, but I am not a reader. No. Let me rephrase that. Other than reading to my kids, I do not read for pleasure. My latest reading has either been some Sesame Street book or other children's favorite or People magazine. I've enjoyed all of Meyer's books...they keep me coming back and wanting more!
I've been surprised at how realistic her unrealistic characters can be. The main relationship, while chaste, is magical in itself...one could only dream to be loved in such a way.
The only reason I gave this one four stars instead of five is that it took about 250 pages before I really got hooked. Between the typos and grammatical errors, to just the long drawn out first 7 chapters, it wasn't a gripper from the beginnin ...more
