I snagged this book as my white elephant at the Book Club Christmas party and figured it would be a great way to kick off 2018.

The story is extremely slow. The world building though is fantastic. The story takes place in a circus setting and it is a completely immersive experience. Through out the story you have the circus described through many view points and it is a truly fascinating place. The description are highly detailed and full of fun tidbits and back stories.
