This was a very interesting novel. It was at times misogynistic. There was an instance of homophobic bullying and some implied racism at points, which tainted the experience for me.

Wow. That is what I call brilliant. Writing ? Perfect. Psychology and character development ? Amazing. And the rest, the action, the story, all that is mastered.
Ender's Game is one of these books that mesmerized me. I simply could not put it down. I loved the themes of war and strategy and manipulation, with all the underlying questions. It's a book that makes you think. And the ending... (view spoiler)

Good re-read!

3.5 star rating. I listened to this YA SciFi book and there were 5 different readers, which made the story telling exciting. The biggest draw back was explaining the stradegy too much. Definitly can see a movie being made from the storyline. What is surprising is that this book was written 20 yrs ago.
