This is like reading 100 Años de Soledad by Gabriel García Márquez. Obviously García's masterpiece goes beyond perfection, but Kafka on the Shore has some similarities. The story develops in apparent disorder, giving us but pieces of the story's puzzle. Little by little we begin to put some pieces together, until we end up with a glorious picture of the whole story.
