Kafka on the Shore is the most approachable Murakami novel I've read to date. Since it's an older classic, I'll keep my comments brief. There's not a lot to be said about this wonderful book that dozens of reviewers before me haven't already said.

One of Murakami's best. There is no character that you don't grow to love but also respectfully fear.
