An unquestioned classic of science fiction, the book contains perhaps more philosophy than science. Based on the deleterious effects of censorship, the story examines the potential results of trivial existence devoid of intellectual thought. There are many facets that are remarkably and eerily relevant to today's political situations. This should be a must-read for any thinking person.

There is so much to this short novel. What impressed me the most was the idea of thinking, needing leisure to think.
